Trevon Young, our 50th ranked defensive end, is best suited to be a starter. We project he will end up with the Detroit Lions because they could use a player of this quality after losing John Cominsky for an extended period of time. The Lions currently have 6 healthy defensive ends, and 1 is rated better than Young: (Chris Smith).

The Lions currently have no defensive ends under contract beyond the 2026 season, so Young could see a potential long term deal with the team.
