IRVING

David Irving, our 93rd ranked defensive end, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Pittsburgh Steelers because they could use a player of this quality to play defensive end. The Steelers currently have 3 healthy defensive ends, and 2 are rated better than Irving: (Isaiahh Loudermilk and Dean Lowry).

The Steelers currently have no defensive ends under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Irving may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
