Shakir Soto, our 80th ranked defensive end, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Minnesota Vikings because they could use a player of this quality after losing Jonathan Bullard for an extended period of time. The Vikings currently have 3 healthy defensive ends, and 1 is rated better than Soto: (Danielle Hunter).

The Vikings currently have no defensive ends under contract beyond the 2026 season, so Soto might get longer than a one year deal with the team.
