Aaron Patrick, our 101st ranked defensive end, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Cleveland Browns because they could use a player of this quality to play defensive end. The Browns currently have 4 healthy defensive ends, and none are rated better than Patrick.

The Browns currently have no defensive ends under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Patrick may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
