Jeremiah Valoaga, our 86th ranked defensive end, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Pittsburgh Steelers because they could use a player of this quality to play defensive end. The Steelers currently have 3 healthy defensive ends, and 1 is rated better than Valoaga: (Dean Lowry).

The Steelers currently have no defensive ends under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Valoaga might get longer than a one year deal with the team.
