Simeon Thomas, our 80th ranked cornerback, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Chicago Bears because they could use a player of this quality after losing Greg Stroman for an extended period of time. The Bears currently have only 2 healthy cornerbacks, and none are rated better than Thomas.

The Bears currently have no cornerbacks under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Thomas may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
