Duke Dawson, our 115th ranked cornerback, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Los Angeles Chargers because they could use a player of this quality to play cornerback. The Chargers currently have only 2 healthy cornerbacks, and none are rated better than Dawson.

The Chargers currently have no cornerbacks under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Dawson might get longer than a one year deal with the team.
