Danny Johnson, our 174th ranked cornerback, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Miami Dolphins because they could use a player of this quality after losing Eli Apple for an extended period of time. The Dolphins currently have 11 healthy cornerbacks, and 3 are rated better than Johnson: (Jalen Ramsey, Kader Kohou, and Xavien Howard).

The Dolphins currently have no cornerbacks under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Johnson is probably looking at a one year deal, due to his rank, with the team.
