Trevor Bates, our 180th ranked linebacker, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Los Angeles Rams because they could use a player of this quality to play linebacker. The Rams currently have 10 healthy linebackers, and 3 are rated better than Bates: (Ernest Jones, Christian Rozeboom, and Jared Verse).

The Rams currently have no linebackers under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Bates may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
