Matt Longacre, our 292nd ranked linebacker, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Miami Dolphins because they could use a player of this quality after losing Bradley Chubb for an extended period of time. The Dolphins currently have 7 healthy linebackers, and 3 are rated better than Longacre: (Andrew Van Ginkel, Malik Reed, and Quinton Bell).

The Dolphins currently have no linebackers under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Longacre may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
