Elijah Qualls, our 162nd ranked defensive tackle, is best suited to
be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Minnesota Vikings because they
could use a player of this quality after losing Harrison Phillips for an extended period of time. The Vikings
currently have 7 healthy defensive tackles, and 3 are
rated better than Qualls: (Jerry Tillery, Khyiris Tonga, and Sheldon Day).
The Vikings currently have no
defensive tackles under contract beyond the 2027 season,
so Qualls is probably looking at a one year deal, due to his rank, with the team.
