Deiontrez Mount, our 29th ranked linebacker, is best suited to be a starter. We project he will end up with the Houston Texans because they could use a player of this quality after losing Derek Rivers and Blake Cashman for an extended period of time. The Texans currently have 6 healthy linebackers, and none are rated better than Mount.

The Texans currently have no linebackers under contract beyond the 2026 season, so Mount may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
