Paxton Lynch, our 92nd ranked quarterback, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Chicago Bears because they could use a player of this quality after losing Nathan Peterman for an extended period of time. The Bears currently have 632 healthy quarterbacks, and none are rated better than Lynch.

The Bears currently have no quarterbacks under contract beyond the 2026 season, so Lynch might get longer than a one year deal with the team.
