Kyle Carter, our 27th ranked tight end, is best suited to be a starter. We project he will end up with the Detroit Lions because they could use a player of this quality after losing Garrett Griffin for an extended period of time. The Lions currently have 3 healthy tight ends, and none are rated better than Carter.

The Lions currently have no tight ends under contract beyond the 2026 season, so Carter may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
