Brandon Barnes, our 85th ranked tight end, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Jacksonville Jaguars because they could use a player of this quality to play tight end. The Jaguars currently have only 2 healthy tight ends, and 2 are rated better than Barnes: (Luke Farrell and Brenton Strange).

The Jaguars currently have no tight ends under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Barnes may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
