Kennard Backman, our 112nd ranked tight end, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Denver Broncos because they could use a player of this quality to play tight end. The Broncos currently have 3 healthy tight ends, and none are rated better than Backman.

The Broncos currently have no tight ends under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Backman may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
