Erik Swoope, our 35th ranked tight end, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Dallas Cowboys because they could use a player of this quality to play tight end. The Cowboys currently have 4 healthy tight ends, and none are rated better than Swoope.

The Cowboys currently have no tight ends under contract beyond the 2026 season, so Swoope may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
