Eric Reid, our 7th ranked safety, is best suited to be a starter. We project he will end up back with the Carolina Panthers because they could use a player of this quality to play safety. The Panthers currently have 5 healthy safetys, and none are rated better than Reid.

The Panthers currently have no safetys under contract beyond the 2026 season, so Reid may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
