Darius James, our 144th ranked tackle, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Kansas City Chiefs because they could use a player of this quality to play tackle. The Chiefs currently have 5 healthy tackles, and 3 are rated better than James: (Trey Smith, Creed Humphrey, and Kingsley Suamataia).

The Chiefs currently have no tackles under contract beyond the 2028 season, so James may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
