Jerry Ugokwe, our 96th ranked tackle, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Houston Texans because they could use a player of this quality after losing Tytus Howard for an extended period of time. The Texans currently have 3 healthy tackles, and 2 are rated better than Ugokwe: (Laremy Tunsil and Kenyon Green).

The Texans currently have no tackles under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Ugokwe may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
