Eric Smith, our 47th ranked guard, is best suited to be a starter. We project he will end up with the Los Angeles Chargers because they could use a player of this quality to play guard. The Chargers currently have only 1 healthy guards, and none are rated better than Smith.

The Chargers currently have no guards under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Smith could see a potential long term deal with the team.
