Ryan Hunter, our 89th ranked guard, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the New York Giants because they could use a player of this quality to play guard. The Giants currently have only 2 healthy guards, and none are rated better than Hunter.

The Giants currently have no guards under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Hunter might get longer than a one year deal with the team.
