Linden Stephens, our 98th ranked safety, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Los Angeles Rams because they could use a player of this quality after losing John Johnson for an extended period of time. The Rams currently have 6 healthy safetys, and none are rated better than Stephens.

The Rams currently have no safetys under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Stephens might get longer than a one year deal with the team.
