Steve Longa, our 145th ranked linebacker, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the New York Giants because they could use a player of this quality to play linebacker. The Giants currently have 7 healthy linebackers, and 3 are rated better than Longa: (Kayvon Thibodeaux, Azeez Ojulari, and Micah Mcfadden).

The Giants currently have no linebackers under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Longa may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
