Marcus Lucas, our 152nd ranked tight end, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Cincinnati Bengals because they could use a player of this quality after losing Drew Sample for an extended period of time. The Bengals currently have only 2 healthy tight ends, and 2 are rated better than Lucas: (Tanner Hudson and Mitchell Wilcox).

The Bengals currently have no tight ends under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Lucas may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
