Josh Thomas, our 419th ranked safety, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Los Angeles Rams because they could use a player of this quality after losing John Johnson for an extended period of time. The Rams currently have 6 healthy safetys, and 3 are rated better than Thomas: (Jordan Fuller, Russ Yeast, and Trevius Tomlinson).

The Rams currently have no safetys under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Thomas is probably looking at a one year deal, due to his rank, with the team.
