Joe Gaziano, our 116th ranked defensive end, is best suited to be a primary backup. We project he will end up with the Indianapolis Colts because they could use a player of this quality after losing Adam Gotsis for an extended period of time. The Colts currently have 127 healthy defensive ends, and 3 are rated better than Gaziano: (Kwity Paye, Dayo Odeyingbo, and Laiatu Latu).

The Colts currently have no defensive ends under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Gaziano might get longer than a one year deal with the team.
