James Wright, our 320th ranked wide receiver, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Los Angeles Chargers because they could use a player of this quality to play wide receiver. The Chargers currently have 5 healthy wide receivers, and 3 are rated better than Wright: (Josh Palmer, Jalen Guyton, and Keelan Doss).

The Chargers currently have no wide receivers under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Wright may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
