Darryl Tapp, our 221st ranked defensive end, is best suited to be a depth backup. We project he will end up with the Denver Broncos because they could use a player of this quality after losing Zach Allen for an extended period of time. The Broncos currently have only 2 healthy defensive ends, and 1 is rated better than Tapp: (Mike Purcell).

The Broncos currently have no defensive ends under contract beyond the 2027 season, so Tapp may only be getting a short term deal, considering his age, with the team.
